February 2025

Happy 7th Birthday, Macy!
This girl asked for 2 things this year: getting her ears pierced and a gecko! They were both a big hit.

Meet Chief (later renamed Tanya when we realized she was a girl...).

Mac would not let her out of his sight.

Jennifer stayed for Macy's birthday, but went home shortly after this. Goodbyes are hard! We will miss her.

Instead of doing a big friend party like her siblings, she decided she wanted to go to Great Wolf Lodge with the family. We spent a solid 2 days there...she loved every minute of it. Benson was tall enough to go on some of the bigger slides and decided to brave one of them. He loved it!

Cat Cafe with Jennifer
Before Jennifer left she also took the girls to a cat cafe (yes, there is such a thing), where they just hung out and played with friendly cats. So fun!

Aquarium

Ice Castles
Lexi wasn't able to make it, but Clara's friend, Rachel, came with us instead.

Air Force Hockey
We were able to go to a hockey game with our friends, Scott and Amy Richins. So fun!

We just happened to be sitting on the same row as Russ and Katie and their family - small world!

Icebergs
This month Benson discovered excavating dinosaurs out of an iceberg. It kept him (and all of his older siblings) busy making and breaking icebergs for a very long time this month.

Other February Fun

Macy had fun styling Benson's hair that was getting too long.

Lexi did a report on dolphins for school and built a large dolphin to display out of rice crispies. She frosted it and cut up some marshmallows to make teeth - she did a great job!

Macy had colonial day at school, where she dressed up like an early colonist and did all sorts of fun things with her grade.

We got bith a giant egg and a tiny egg on the same day. Funny to compare the two side by side. You never know what you're going to get!

I went to register the girls for a summer gymnastics camp and found Benson was on the poster for it! Such a stud!

Mac

Mac found a turkey in the backyard!
