Smile!

Isn't our little boy a cutie?! Cole is smiling more and more now, mostly during diaper changes, with a couple occasional random smiles. It's so much fun!

Canyon Lake Hike

Dave had last week off and we decided to venture out on our first family hike with Cole. I don't think he appreciated the scenery around Canyon Lake (he spent the majority of the time sleeping with a burp cloth over his head so he didn't get sunburned), but he made it through the entire hour and a half hike. Dave and I had fun together as well.

Cole is just starting to figure out how to really smile. Unfortunately we see the grumpy face a little more often. :P

This past weekend we had lots of family in town for Cole's baby blessing at church. We borrowed this adorable tuxedo from my mother; it was the same one that my brothers and my nephew Zac were blessed in. Isn't he handsome?! We're so grateful for all of the support our family gives us - check out the fun pictures from the weekend below. Cole had his 2-month check-up the next day, and he's officially 12lbs 5oz, 24inches long. That's the 70th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for height. He's going to be a big boy!
