We have most of our cabinets and drawers child-locked, but Cole found one we haven't gotten to yet and discovered the zip-lock baggies. He was having fun pulling them out until I found him, and before I even had a chance to say anything he started frantically stuffing them back in. He was caught red-handed! We love our little Curious George.

More February Fun
Our little man is getting more handsome everyday. Look at all those teeth and those beautiful blue eyes! |
Cole loves playing in his tupperware cabinet. He tripped over the mixing bowl and fell in backwards and was crying until I pulled out the camera; then he whipped out a big smile for me. :) |
I made some yummy red velvet cake bites for valentines day treats. Red velvet isn't my favorite flavor of cake, but I couldn't resist the beautiful deep red and white combo. |
Cole and I enjoyed sugar cookies and milk together as well. He won't swallow a lot of other foods because of the textures, but for some reason he has no trouble getting cookies down. ;-) |

Cole's Birthday Video
So we finally got around to editing/compressing the video from Cole's birthday - check it out. If you're getting this by e-mail you have to actually log onto the blog to watch the video.
February Fun
We have already had lots of fun this month. Cole helped us clean the church yesterday and had a blast helping Dave push around the big garbage can to empty all the trash cans. His new favorite spot to camp out is behind our pantries in a little corner of the kitchen. For some reason he loves the little nooks that he can fit into. He definitely knows he's supposed to smile for the camera now, and if you look at his close-up shot you can see all of his bottom teeth that are just about to come in. I also made some yummy raspberry cheesecake cake bites for a girl's night out with some of the sisters in the ward and they were to die for! Thanks Jan for the recipe book!
There was also a really funny incident this week that I just have to share. Dave was giving Cole his bath before bedtime and he had some pretty nasty poopies in the tub so Dave called me up for back-up. We double-teamed it and got Cole in our other bathtub. While I was holding the squirmy guy Dave was trying to get the bath water going, but the shower was turned on so Dave got soaking wet in the process. Once we finally got Cole situated it was easier just to have Dave hop in with him since his bath seat was in the other dirty bath. I thought that the situation was taken care of when no more than two minutes later I hear Dave screaming "back-up, back-up"! Apparently Cole's colon was not totally emptied out the first time and I run in to find Dave and Cole sitting in the tub with little poopies floating all around them. I was trying to help but I was laughing so hard at the site that I had to take a minute to compose myself. With no more showers to switch to we had to try and rinse off and clean up while holding a wet poopy boy and trying to get Dave cleaned up. Needless to say it was a pretty exciting night! I don't think Dave is going to be taking another bath with Cole anytime soon...
