We're having a little girl!!!

What? A girl? Are you sure? I couldn't help but ask the ultrasound tech several times in a row to double-check, as I was so sure we were having another boy. I couldn't be happier for a little girl though! I was afraid I would have all boys and no one to take care of me when I'm old! Now the fun begins of choosing a name. Bring on the ruffles and bows! I think Dave's pretty excited for a little girl as well. :)

Fun with Daddy

Despite Dave's crazy schedule after starting his fellowship and trying to cram for his internal medicine boards (which he takes next week - good luck, Dave!), he and Cole have had some fun times together. Dave was in charge of the raingutter riggata booth at our wards Pioneer Day party, and Cole had fun helping him run the booth/splashing in the water. I think Dave also had fun making a couple boats for it...

They also had a lot of fun during another monsoon storm. The only time we go outside anymore is when it's raining!

Cole also LOVES helping Dave with any chores, especially if he gets to use the dust buster.

He also loves climbing on Mommy and playing tickle monster. I'm not sure his siblling on the way appreciates it all the time...

Cole is such a good helper when it comes to doing chores, but I feel like it usually makes more chores for me. I couldn't help but smile when I saw his "helping hands" all over the fridge though after he helped me put on sunscreen and his cute little dirty footprints on our bench after helping me fold laundry. Someday he really will be a big helper!
