Alexis's Baby Blessing

Dave blessed Alexis on February 24th, 2013. He gave a very sweet and tender blessing, and we are so grateful for all of our family that came down to support us.

This is four generations of women in my family together. My grandmother Ranae Crockett, my mother Kathren Blacker, me, Aubrey Beutler, and my daughter, Alexis Beutler. I have a picture just like this from when I was a baby with my great grandmother and I treasure it. Hopefully Lexi will treasure this someday too.

Jan and Melissa also made a quick trip to be with us on Lexi's special day. We loved seeing them again.

Our New Life

We have been blessed with lots of visitors over the last couple months as we've been trying to adjust to life as a family of four. Cole has been spoiled to the core by grandmas and aunts and is now completely obsessed with everything and anything to do with the movie "Cars", but he sure loves his new little sister. Lexi is growing way too fast and the perfect little sweetheart that we ordered. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive and helped us this last little while!

Cole loves sharing his toys with Lexi. I just have to watch him very carefully while he's sharing. ;-)

Dave and I had a fun time getting dressed up for a fancy dinner party for his fellowship director's retirement party.

Cole loves going on walks with his baby sister next to him and I am thoroughly enjoying our new double stroller.

Cole found his pumpkin bucket from Halloween and could not be dissuaded from walking around the neighborhood with it. I'm sure all of our neighbors were chuckling as he walked around with it in February.
