Christmas 2014

Christmas time was very busy for us this year, filled with visits to Santa Clause, Cole's preschool Christmas program, and a trip to St. George to visit the Beutlers. The kids especially loved seeing their Grandma and Grandpa, theirs aunts and uncles, and all of their dogs. :)

Lexi found her present from Nana under the tree and opened it while I wasn't looking. How could I be mad at such a cutie?

2014 Family Pictures

I love these pictures of our family! I am so grateful for the active, smart, sassy, beautiful children the Lord has blessed us with. Cole is almost 4, Lexi is barely 2, and Clara is one month old here.

  

After what was literally a miracle (getting some good pictures on a more than difficult day for Lexi), she earned a popsicle and a ride back to the car in Clara's car seat. Needless to say, she's going through a period of adjustment after her spot as the baby in the family was taken.

Happy Birthday!

We had a couple of big birthdays in December. I turned the big 30 and Lexi turned 2! Between the balloons, pizza, ice cream cake, and presents, including a new tricycle, Lexi was one happy girl. As captured in a couple of the pictures though, Cole was not exactly thrilled that all the presents were for Lexi and that he didn't get any. She tried to make him feel better by letting him unwrap one of her presents for her and sharing the cake frosting with him (her favorite part of the party by far was the frosting). She loves her brother more than anything in the world!
