Happy 7th Birthday, Clara!
We had a puppy party for Clara this year. She and her friends each got their face painted, adopted a puppy, gave them a name, made them a kennel and a collar and leash, and played puppy BINGO. She was in Heaven.
Happy 1st Birthday, Benson!
I have never seen a 1-yr old love being the center of attention, love digging into his cake, love being sung to, and love opening presents as much as this kid. He was all smiles and could not have been happier.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a low-key meal this year, but Dave and Dad decided we needed to do a pit turkey in our backyard. The snow on the ground did not stop these guys from lighting a fire, making coals, and burying the turkey to cook. Cole had fun helping too.
November Fun
Macy has discovered kids yoga and LOVES it.
One of my college roommates introduced me to the practice of playing "dead dog" after a big Sunday meal. Now I see where that name came from. This is how we all felt after Thanksgiving.
Grace and Benson love watching each other, but they're still figuring out how to play together. Grace loves to take Benson's toys and push him around.
Lexi wasn't feeling well one day and was taking a nap in the sun. Mac came over to comfort her.
Grandpa helped Clara get her loose tooth out!
My glasses girls. Macy is the only one who wears hers all the time, but Lexi and Clara have theirs for reading if they need them.
Nathan is doing so good! He was allowed to take off his neck brace. He has a long road ahead, and his neck is still really weak, but miraculously, he's going to be ok.
