 Mother's Day
It will not be long before more than just Cole is taller than me! Love this bunch of mine.

We made big paper-plate flowers and decorated my Mom and Grandma Crockett's home for their mother's day present. The kids had a lot of fun making them and putting them up.

Gymnastics
Lexi has made leaps and bounds of progress in her gymnastics skills this year.

Her Bronze team this year:

Lexi's 6th Grade "Glowing Up" Party
At TCA, 6th grade is still elementary school. Lexi celebrated leaving elementary school with a big "Glowing Up" party with her classmates.

Soccer
Macy has taken off in soccer this year. She loves playing and definitely has a strong competitive spark inside her.

Turkey Hunting
Hearing of Tyler's success, my brother, Russ, had to come get himself a turkey too. 🤣
It looks like he's in the Colorado mountains somewhere, not in my backyard 5 minutes from the interstate. Benson loved seeing his turkey too.

Skate City
The kids used their own money to buy summer skate city passes, so we took them and a few friends for an afternoon of skating. Benson had never really skated before, but did great with his big sisters' barbie beginner skates and  a training guard. Clara won the Limbo!

Tumbleweeds
We let the weeds get way too big on our back property last summer, and there were mountains of tumbleweeds this spring that needed cleaned up (won't let that happen again). The kids and I collected all of the tumble weeds into a giant pile, and then we got ride of them anyway we could. We borrowed Dad's trailer, filled our garbage cans, went to the dump, left big bags on the curb. It was a several week process, but we finally got them all cleared up.

May Happenings
Cole graduated from 8th grade this month. We now officially have a high schooler....😟

Clara's class normally watches a dissection of a lamb's heart on a video for their 4th grade anatomy unit, but Dave volunteered to come do the dissection in person and teach the kids about the heart. They all got to touch it and were sufficiently grossed out. Dave had a blast.

TCA carnival fun

Clara participated in a young performers summit, where she worked on her acting and singing skills. It was fun to see her perform. She has decided that she was meant to be an actress.

Macy got to play a duet from Beauty and the Beast with Grandpa Blacker. She LOVED it.
