This year I helped Dave with the Mother's Day brunch in our ward. He had the Elder's Quorum help with the breakfast casseroles, but I made lots of blueberry muffins and put together flowers for the tables. It was fun to be able to work together on it.
Clara's civil war project
Clara had a big civil war project and Mac loved helping her with it.
Macy's Spring Soccer
Macy is finishing up her spring soccer season with Pride. She has drastically improved this year, but it was still a tough season for her team. She walks away from every game still loving soccer though.
Clara's Dance Recital
Clara did a musical theater dance class this year. It was a new experience, but I have a feeling we will be seeing more of her on stage.
Lexi's Gymnastics
Lexi finished up her Silver I competition season this month, with lots of progress and some medals. She walks away still loving gymnastics every time.
It's a good thing I grew up braiding my little sister's hair - that skill has come in very handy for gymnastics competition hair!
Clara and Macy came with me to support Lexi at her State meet, where her team took first!
Benson's Preschool Graduation
Clara and her friends (and Benson).
Lexi and her friends.
Macy and her friends.
Cole living his best life.
Clara took a children's acting class this year, and they performed their final show this month. It was really quite remarkable how they put it together. Clara was a narrator and a townsperson and had a blast. She loves the stage.
We love Ms. Laura!
Clara also participated in a Young Performer's Summit that was a 3-day intensive where she learned more acting/musical theater skills and had a short performance at the end.
Jan came for a visit this month and was able to see Lexi's home gymnastics meet, Macy's soccer game, and Clara's play. There are pros to having everything crammed into Maycember!
Zac's Solo Piano Recital
Nathan's family came out for a quick visit to see Zac play in his solo piano recital.
The girls discovered cupping as a muscle relief technique. Dave was a good sport. ;-)
