Family Photos - 2021

One of the things we have agreed to invest in every year is family pictures, and we have not regretted it! I love capturing a moment in time and looking back and seeing how things have changed and stayed the same.

October Family Fun

Benson is watching Dave and the girls clean out my flowers before winter. He was fascinated!

When I was pregnant with Lexi, 1 1/2-yr-old Cole would drive his cars across the couch and park them in neat lines on my tummy and all around me as I rested. It makes me smile that he hasn't grown out of it. 

Unfortunately we had some water issues in our basement and had to tear things up and put in a second sump pump. Not a fun couple months.

I love doing little girls hair!

This kid loves chocolate chip pancakes.

Macy is a social little butterfly and has been loving her preschool class.

Clara lost her first tooth, with a little help from Grandpa Blacker.

My brother, Nathan, had neck surgery and seems to be healing remarkably well. He has a long road ahead of him and remains in our prayers.

Playing the piano with Lexi is one of Benson's favorite things to do right now.

Halloween!

For the last 6 months people have been stopping me in random places and telling me that my baby looks like Jack-Jack from the Incredibles. We decided to run with it and do an Incredibles family theme this year for Halloween. Cole's costume is my very favorite though. He is Syndrome, the fan boy turned super villian in the movie. He completely personified the character and had so much fun with it. Grandma is Edna and Grandpa is Frozone. We were the quite the site walking in the ward Halloween party costume parade!

It wouldn't be Halloween at our house if we didn't rotate through at least 3 costumes/kid/year. Macy is particularly fond of creating her own.

Grandma made monster doughnuts with the kids - they loved it!
