October 2022

Moab - Fall Break

Shantae and her family came into town and we went to the pumpkin patch with them, Mom and Dad, and Russell and Katie's family. It was a crazy foggy morning, but turned out to be a beautiful day.

October Fun

Our lookout dog. 😂

Cole went off to High Trails camp with his 6th grade class for 3 days. They got lots of snow but he did great on his first trip away from home alone.

Our first snow of the season!

Every year the school library has a pumpkin contest where the kids carve or create a pumpkin to go with a book. Lexi choose Spookly the Square Pumpkin.

Clara choose to make a butternut squash into Percy, The Not-So-Perfect Penguin (same squash family so the librarians said it was ok). Both girls were so happy with their submissions. Who know that an old dress sock that had lost it's match double as a nice black skin for a butternut squash penguin?!

Happy Halloween!
Between school parties, church parties, and actual Halloween, we go through a lot of different costumes each year. Heaven forbid that anyone want to wear the same costume to all of the events...good thing we have so much dress up!

We had to pull out the Incredibles for one more year! Our family won the award "best themed" in our new ward.
