May 2022

Yay for being old enough to go into nursery at church! Benson does great in there and now throws fits in sacrament meeting because he wants to hurry up and get to nursery where he gets to play with cars and have snacks.

We now live in a neighborhood where the ice cream man actually comes occasionally! The kids were thrilled to chase him down and get a treat.

Nonstop...

Not who sure is walking who here, but they were both happy.

Fathers/Sons campout that Dave and Cole joined Russ and his boys on.

See that grumpy face? Yeah, mine was grumpier. This stinker got a brand new bottle of hot pink nail polish and decided to paint her nails and all over her laundry hamper in her room with it (and subsequently a large patch of brand-new carpet in our new home). It's a good thing we love her so much.

Benson and Grace loved playing with the water table together. Benson's favorite was dumping the water all over himself or drinking it (cringe).

Mac sporting his summer cut.

Mac and Benson are glued together these days, not because the dog likes the boy, but because the boy's food is really easy to steal.

Bryce and Macy's current favorite game is dress-up. We only have gloves, purses, heels and dresses to dress up in, but that didn't bother Bryce one bit.

This stream runs through our new property where we are building. The kids can't wait to play in it every day!

Happy Mother's Day to me! I sure love this crazy bunch of kids that I've been blessed with.

Clara's class otter got to go to the cath lab with daddy one day...

The struggle to learn how to skate is real.

Clara and Lexi had a fundraising run at school. They had fun running with their friends.

Lexi gave cousin Jake's bike a try. It was a little small for her, but she had fun.

We were having a beautiful May when one of our late spring snow storms hit, and this one was a doozy. 80 degrees one day and snow the next. I've never looked at my weather app and seen it be around 70 degrees out while simultaneously issuing a winter storm watch. This is a crazy part of the world we live in, but I love it!

We may have given Mac his summer haircut a little too soon. After this attempt at going potty he decided the shoveled out area was a safer bet for him.
