Mexico!

Why not take a trip to Mexico in the middle of moving?! We planned the trip before we decided to move, so the show must go on. Nothing like keeping things busy and fun. We are always quite the site when we travel.

I'm so glad Cole has such a good friend in his little sister, Clara.

There were little minnows that would nibble at the dead skin on your feet - so ticklish!

Joe and Kaela and Charlotte joined us for part of the trip at the resort too - so fun to catch up with them!

The night before we left Lexi and Clara came down with some sort of awful stomach bug/fever and we were so worried they weren't going to let us in the airport/get on the plane, but we somehow snuck everyone through. It was a fun week, but the trip back was miserable, poor things.

Clara - my expert sock-matcher!

Saying goodbye to Primary friends was hard!

Benson helping me clean the floors of our new place.

Cole was more than eager to help organize the new game closet.

Cole prepared a large presentation for his 5th grade project on Deforestation. He did a great job presenting it!

The previous owners of our interim home left their play set and we already have one, so we gave this one to Russ and Katie and their kids. IT was quite the feat moving it.

Thank goodness the new house in on a dead end street where the kids can still drive their car!

Benson LOVES anything to do with cars, especially when he gets to ride in one at the kids haircut store.

Mac's favorite place to ride in my car is propped up on Benson's car seat in the middle, looking out the front.

Russell's bunnies are quite the hit with the kids.

Lexi was able to sneak in a little ski time with daddy.

Snow Mountain Ranch - YMCA of the Rockies
We also had previously scheduled a trip to Snow Mountain Ranch in the Rockies for Spring Break. We tried our hand at snow shoeing, but it wasn't a huge hit with the kids. Tubbing down their sledding hill was a big hit though. Even Benson loved it! Jan came with us too, and the kids loved doing crafts with her in the craft cabin.

Benson's first time really playing in the snow. Can you guess how he felt being all bundled up?
