Fun in the Snow!
I want to always remember our 3-yr-old Benson like this. Smiling, happy, wearing his favorite tiger sweatshirt and playing with a big tractor in the snow. He is such a fun kid.
Lexi got a snow scooter from Grandma Beutler and has been riding it up and down the street.
Sledding with cousins is the best.
December Happenings
Jumbo twister for the win. Dave was a good sport competing again all of our flexible girls. It's just not fair to play against Lexi.
Aunt Melissa sent the kids some fun Christmas Garb. They all had to model it for me.
Macy had a darling "Christmas Around the World" concert with her kindergarten.
I caught this little elf sneaking a peek into a Christmas present. That expression!
Our friends, the Bushnells, usually watch our dog when we go out of town. They have a whole dog sitting business they run out of their home. This year they invited all of their dog sitting clients and friends over for a doggie Christmas party. There were treats for the people and the dogs! It was a little harder to get a good picture of the dogs with Santa and Mrs. Clause. Needless to say, Clara was in absolute dog heaven. Mac, not so much.
Christmas Cookie Decorating
We signed up to bring decorated sugar cookies to Macy's kindergarten concert. She had a blast decorating them with me, and of course we had to make many extras so the other kids could join in too.
Benson turned our gingerbread man mitten and spatula into a shield and sword. He turns everything into some kind of ninja weapon and fighting game. 1000% little boy.
Happy Birthday Lexi and Aubrey!
Lexi turned 11 this year and Aubrey turned 39. Crazy time of year for all the birthdays, but we didn't miss a chance to celebrate together.

Lexi's DC Trip
For Lexi's birthday present we (and Melissa) gave her a solo trip to go visit her Aunt Melissa and Uncle James and their family. Cousin Samantha is 4 and loved every second of attention Lexi gave her, and the twins Ethan and Ryan were busy little bodies. Lexi was so proud to be able to fly across the country by herself and have a grand adventure, but she was also ready to come home by the end. She's growing up way too fast!
House Progress
Cabinets, floors, painting, exterior metal, all going in right now. So exciting!!!
