Saratoga Hot Springs
On the way home from Idaho we stopped and stayed the night in Saratoga Hot Springs. It's crazy how such hot water can come out of the earth even when it's so cold outside.
Dave's brother, Joe, Kaela, and their 3 babies and nanny were in a very scary accident this month. A girl speeding flew across the median of a state highway and hit their mini van head on. She died on the scene, but miraculously everyone survived in their van (pictures below of what it looked like after the accident). Joe broke many ribs and his shoulder, and is going to have a long road to recovery, but Kaela and the kids survived with minor injuries. Their nanny broke her leg and some ribs and had to go back home. We are praying for all of their recoveries and are so grateful for the angels watching over them that day.
Groundbreaking!
We are finally starting construction on our new home! This month we have spent many hours watching the diggers and cement trucks working and exploring the property.
April Fun
I couldn't find Macy, and finally located her, asleep, tucked into the stuffed animal bin. This girl never even slows down, let alone takes a nap, so it was the last place I looked. Funny girl likes to be cozy I guess.
Story of Colorado Springs, except maybe throw some snow in there too.
Cookies in the mail is always a fun surprise gift from Aunt Liz.
Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Hiding TONS of eggs and watching my kids hunt for them for hours is so fun.
Benson found a snack at Grandma's house.
Costco had so many beautiful plants that I couldn't resist getting some (or an entire car full). Unfortunately due to cold weather they lived in my master bathtub for almost 2 months before they were allowed outside.
Happy Birthday, Grace!
Clara created a rainforest biome for her 2nd grade class. She was so proud of the result of her hard work.
They two were a little more comfortable with the Easter Bunny this year.
Still lots of facetime calls before bed to talk and sing with Grandma before bed.
