Grandpa Crockett
Grandpa Crockett passed away the beginning of March. I am so thankful for the knowledge that we have of the plan of salvation, and that our Savior has overcome death and sin that we might also. It is hard to see Grandma say goodbye to her sweetheart of most of her life though, and Mom say goodbye to her Dad. We drove to Idaho the end of the month for the funeral in Burley.
Right before he passed Grandpa sang "You Are My Sunshine" together with Grandma, and the love they have for each other is palpable when you watch the video. 💗
All of my aunts and uncles on the Crockett side (and my parents). From left to right: Chris and Diane, Keith and Jenn, Brent and Terri, Darren and Tiff, Blake and Jenn, Ted and Kathren.
All of Grandpa's family that was at his funeral.
Benson was so good during the entire funeral service.
March Fun
Lexi can often be found standing on her head doing a variety of different things, including reading and playing on her tablet. You'd think the couch would be a more comfortable...
Lexi was chosen as student of the month for being knowledgeable and caring.
Macy made me all of these drawings and left them for me on my nightstand. Made my day.
This month could be deemed "The month of dress up" by Benson and Macy. They have had so much fun pretending together.
March Birthdays
We got together and had a small birthday party for Grandpa Crockett before he passed away. He was not able to really participate, but we sang him happy birthday, gave him hugs, and had cake.
We also had a big birthday party later in the month to celebrate Grandma Crockett, Russ and Jake's birthdays.
