Happy Mother's Day!
I'm so grateful for these children that I have been blessed with, as well as for my mom, grandmother, mother-in-law, and all of the many mother figures that have loved and helped me along the way.
Progress on the House!
Dave built us a staircase out of cinder blocks up the hillside so we can more easily get to the other side of our property. The kids and I painted them to blend in. They turned out great!
Lexi and Dave worked on the panels for the rock climbing wall that is going in our elevator shaft. Lexi was a huge help!
Climbing Rocks in the Garden of the Gods is a favorite of the kids.
The Calhan Paint Mines are also a favorite place to explore.
This is Lexi at her piano teacher's home waiting for her turn for her lesson. I was mortified but apparently she found it amusing.
Macy had a special Mother's Day at her preschool. She was so excited to share what she had been working on with me.
Happy 14th Anniversary to us! We went out to a fun dinner and hiked to the top of pulpit rock in the middle of Colorado Springs. It was so beautiful at sunset.
We have gotten a lot of rain this springs, and Benson has LOVED splashing in puddles and finding worms.
Our stream on our new property turned into more of a raging river this year.
