Blacker Family Reunion 2023

This year we went to Oklahoma! The family rented a couple houses on the lake and near the river and we had fun catching up with everyone.

We had a random "personal sauna" chair in our Air BnB. It was that creepy thing in the corner that took us a while to figure out what it was!

 Deacons Camp for Cole

We are so grateful for good leaders and boys who made Cole's first experience at Deacon's camp a good one.

Progress on our new home!

Our neighbors behind our lot at our new house took this photo. They (and the construction workers at our home) have spotted this mama bear and two cubs hanging around the stream and in the woods on our property. Not cool. Unfortunately animal control won't come get them unless they hurt somebody or are causing property damage. In other words, they have to wait until after it mauls one of my kids before they consider it dangerous to our family. Not cool. 😕

Other June Fun

Happy Father's Day, Daddy! A new saw and saw table for all his projects at the new house.

Clara read Charlotte's Web recently and was very proud of herself for making her own web.

This girl keeps loosing teeth but there's no room in her tiny mouth for new ones to come in. An expander and braces are in her near future.

It was a cold and rainy June this year, so Clara's friend's outdoor birthday party at the jump place was a tad wet. She was soaked by the end, but still had a blast. Benson even got to join in on the fun.

LOTS of hail this year.

With all the rain this year Russ and Katie discovered that they actually have a stream running through their property as well. Lots of fun with mud and worms and waterfalls.
